洋蔥豬扒 Pork Chops with Onion

I found this improved recipe from a TV show, and we love to have this with spaghetti or rice.

















材料: Ingredients:

  • 豬扒6塊 6 Pork chops

  • 洋蔥3個 3 Onions

  • 老抽、生抽、糖、生粉、麻油及水少許 Dark soy sauce, soy sauce, sugar, corn starch, sesame oil and a little water

  • 蛋白1/2隻 1/2 egg egg whites

做法: Procedure

  1. 首先用刀背只剁豬扒的一面。 Using the dull side of a cleaver, beat one side of the pork chops to make them softer.

  2. 醃豬扒要謹記色、味行先,即要落老抽、生抽及糖,再加1/2隻蛋白,醃大約5分鐘後才落生粉、麻油及水。 To marinate, use the dark soy sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and the egg whites and marinate for 5 minutes. Then add the corn starch, water, and sesame oil.

  3. 洋蔥片要分開。 Slice the onions into slices, then separate into strips.

  4. 落鑊炒時,炒至香味溢出,便加老抽及糖,然後洋蔥起鑊。 Saute the onions, when they smell good, add a little dark soy sauce and sugar, mix well, then set aside.

  5. 之後煎豬扒至有少焦, 再加入洋蔥、水煮汁,豬扒起鑊後切件,再放豬扒落鑊炒連洋蔥再炒至入味。In the same pan, add oil and pan fry the pork chops. When they start to look a little burnt, take out of the pan and cut into small pieces. Put the onions back in the pan and add a little water. When it starts to boil, put the pork chops back in, stir well, and serve.
